VERY BIG Babies

The Grandkitten Twins, Dos & Tres, came for a short visit last month (it was time to get the special snip-snip, and our family only trusts Dr. Pat at the Alliance Animal Hospital with pet surgery, so Mom made the 1100-mile trip up to ensure that the The Twins would be in trusted hands). They've grown a lot, and Dos is truly enormous -- he weighs as much (at six months old) as his (nearly) one-year-old brother. I managed to snap a few pix of them, and made a couple of photomerges to share. Tres is up top, and Dos is on the bottom. The merges show them from newborn to six months. Dos has grown into quite a handsome young lad, and he's still as mushy, lovey, and laid-back as ever. (He also has an AMAZING tail. It's super-furry, and about the same size as his sister's torso!) Tres is still the sweet, pretty, little thing she was as a kitten, and she's definitely the go-getter of the two...always into everything! She looks so much like her mama, Squeaky, that it's going to be very hard to tell them apart once Tres is full-grown.

They're seriously two of the nicest kitties we've ever had, and I'm so glad they're still part of our family!
